Fill out this application and mail to the following address:

Vanderburgh County Election Board
P.O. Box 3343
Evansville , IN 47732

This application must be received by the Vanderburgh County Election Board on or before October 27, 2003 . If you are a confined voter or are caring for a confined voter, your deadline for submitting this application is October 30, 2003 .

You will then receive an absentee ballot in the mail that you will need to fill out, sign, and return to the address marked on the ballot. Your ballot must be received or postmarked by November 3, 2003.

When filling out the application, check which voting method you prefer:

Voting by mail – you will receive an absentee ballot in the mail that you will need to fill out, sign, and return to the address marked on the ballot. Your ballot must be received or postmarked by November 3, 2003.

Voting in the clerk’s office – you may vote in the Vanderburgh County Election office (Civic Center Complex, Room 214) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday from October 6, 2003 until noon on November 3, 2003. The Vanderburgh County Election office will also be open for voting on October 25 and November 1 from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Voting by traveling board – you may vote before a traveling absentee voter board at your place of confinement from October 23, 2003 until November 3, 2003. If you live in a private residence, you will need to call Cindy Reed at the Vanderburgh County Election office (435-5122) to arrange a time to have the traveling board come to your home.
